Time to Stock Up on Snow Removal Tools & Supplies!

Don't wait for the next big winter storm. Be prepared for the cold and snowy weather, here are certain staples that are good to stock up on ahead of the snow:

• Snow shovel
• Ice scraper
• Ice melt
• Flashlights and extra batteries
• Weather radio
• Emergency car kit
• Water and food that doesn't require cooking or preparation (dried fruit, granola bars, crackers, etc.)
• Extra pet food

While you're at it, be sure to check your outdoor equipment as well to be sure it is ready for the first snow this winter. Your spring and summer outdoor equipment needs to be maintained too. Outdoor power tools, such as mowers and string trimmers, need to be cleaned and maintained prior to storing. If you have a snow blower, it's time to inspect it before the first snowfall to ensure it's working properly.
